Deik VC-1518-US 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is lightweight, convertible, bagless vacuum cleaner. It is versatile unit that can be used as upright/stick and handheld vacuum cleaner and can be used as the second vacuum cleaner at homes and apartments for quick cleanups and in emergencies. It could be used as the main vacuum cleaner in smaller home and apartments, if only it had little bit stronger suction.

Deik VC-1518-US (or just 'VC-1518') is powered with power fade-free 5 cells, 18V 2.2 Ah lithium ion battery.
Maximum operating time is 30-35 minutes as handheld unit, while maximum operating time in upright mode with LED headlights ON and engaged roller brush is 20-25 minutes - this operating time also depends on the type of cleaned surface, state of the brush, filter etc.
However, even in the worst case scenario, Deik VC-1518 can clean respectable area, especially considering its price and weight.
Maximum motor power is 110 W, providing maximum suction of 4.5 kPa, which is enough for most basic cleaning tasks. Thanks to the roller brush, vacuum does acceptably good cleaning job on bare floors and low-pile carpets.
Roller brush is of common design and it is not tangle-free - fortunately, it can be easily removed from the unit and cleaned if required.
In order to prolong the operating time, unit comes with two operating modes - normal and burst mode. Of course, in burst mode operating time is shorter.
When battery is fully drained, it requires 4.5-5h of charging to get fully charged.
Note: Some sites mention that charging dock comes with the Deik VC-1518 cordless vacuum, but it comes 'only' with the charger.
Unit is bagless, with transparent dirt bin capacity of 0.4 liters. Dirt bin could be larger, but it is rather easy to remove from the unit and empty.
Air filtration is acceptably good and is based on washable, mechanical air filter. When washing the filter, be sure to air dry it thoroughly for at least 24h. Never assemble and use the unit with wet air filter. Also, don't use the unit without the air filter or for vacuuming wet and moist dirt.
To get accustomed to your new unit, be sure to read the manual/instructions that come with the unit.
When the Deik VC-1518 is fully assembled, its dimensions are 43.3 x 10.6 x 9.8 inches (110 x 27 x 25 cm) and it weighs 5.1 pounds (2.32 kg), making it very easy to carry around, even up and down the stairs.
Deik VC-1518 comes with single additional cleaning tool: 2-in-1 combination tool which can be used in handheld mode as dusting brush and crevice tool.

Long Story Short: Deik VC-1518-US is good 2-in-1 cordless vacuum cleaner. It does its job, but since its suction could be better, it requires several passes to pick all the dirt.
Note: although Deik VC-1518-US can be found at various online shops, it is not listed at official Deik website.
Personally, if you are interested in the Deik 2-in-1 cordless vacuum, perhaps you should take look at Deik EV-660 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner - IMHO, it is newer, better and more affordable unit.
